Christmas is just around the corner. Industry experts are already trying to pick the top toys for Christmas 2012. They want to know which products are must haves four months before Christmas. Price Grabber has already released its top products list. Price Grabber is a product comparison website.

PriceGrabber uses the data on its site to predict the hottest toys for 2011. By looking at what people are searching for and what has been selling, it was able to compile the results. It also analyzed what products were trending on Google, Cnet, and PcWorld.

You might have guessed that the most popular products are gadgets. Canon’s latest Canon’s EOS Rebel T2i digital camera is on the list. They also suggest that Apple will be a force to be reckoned with. Both the iTouches and iPad 2 have made the list. Microsoft’s Kinect which debuted last year is also expected to be big this year. A lot of what sold last year will continue to sell this year. The new generation of products have been updated. These gadgets are not cheap. The Canon T2i is over 800 dollars. The Ipad 2 will set you back at least 500 dollars. There is a more expensive version with 3G service.

This year the toys seem to be powered by batteries. There is a dancing Mickey Mouse called Dance Star Mickey. There is even a usb powered battery helicopter. Mattel has a memory game called Loopz which is expected to do well.

Toys that aren’t battery powered have to be soft and cuddly. Women are going to buy a new pair of UGG boots even if they already have a pair. One of the cuter toys are the pillow pets. These pets are a stuffed animal which can convert into a pillow.
